Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management has announced the appointment of a new head of PMO (project management office), Zoë Galloway. Zoë brings a wealth of experience to NHFM with almost 20 years of experience in the NHS including 15 years of project programme and PMO management. 
Zoë has worked with a range of organisations including mental health, acute and community settings. Most recently she lead the PMO in a regional Pathology programme alongside five trusts for a shared laboratory information system which included the capital laboratory refurbishments.
She has a degree in psychology and is currently finishing her Masters in Global Leadership and Management in Healthcare, she has also contributed to the global PMO Competencies textbook that was published in 2021.
Spending over 7 years at County Durham and Darlington NHS Foundation Trust, Zoë has shared her PMO expertise, including providing support, guidance, and governance across all the directorates and corporate areas in the Trust, mentoring and coaching teams to create their own PMO and project delivery.
Sharing her enthusiasm to join NHFM, Zoë said: “I’m thrilled to have joined NHFM and look forward to sharing my expertise in the PMO to provide support, information and centre of excellence to allow the capital programme and associated projects to be delivered.”
As well as all these achievements and successes in her career, she is also working on another PMO publication to provide guidance in outlining the vast range of services that a PMO can provide in a format that can guide future PMO’s to deliver value to their customers.
