Northumbria Healthcare Facilities Management Limited (NHFM) 

Brian was appointed in the role of Chief Operating Officer in 2024 having originally joined NHFM executive team as Deputy Director, Estates & Facilities in 2020. He is approaching 30 years of private and public sector working within Property and Facilities Management environment. Operating in senior client and non-client roles Brian has gained extensive leadership experience in managing and delivering value for money and strategic FM solutions across a range of industry, including Financial Services, Utilities, Higher Education, Asset Management, Consultancy and Healthcare.

Brian began his career in the FM industry in 1995 working as a Help Desk Manager responsible for the British Gas Property national estate portfolio and has since pursued a career in FM holding a number of leadership and senior strategic roles within leading organisations including Virgin Money, Chesterton, WSP, National Grid, Mowlem, and more recently held a senior role responsible for Estates and Facilities operations at an award winning Higher Educational Institution.

Brian is a member of IWFM and several regional and national FM networking platforms and is currently working towards FM Chartership.
